Robert G. Bishop, 71, of Waco, passed away early, April 29, 2017 at Lake Shore Village Retirement Center.
Memorial Service with United States Marine Military Honors: 11 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Bobby was born February 24, 1946 in Chaffee, Missouri. Bobby and his older brother, Charles (Chuck) (who passed away in 2008), were both adopted by a loving family, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Cecil Bishop and Ruby Matthews Bishop.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Bishop of Waco; son, Robert (Jeffrey) Bishop of Waco; daughter, Kristin McCann of Hershey, Pennsylvania; and 4 grandchildren.
Bobby was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. He served his country proudly in the US Marines during the Vietnam era.
