Robert E. Graves, 53 of Waco, died Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
Memorial service: Saturday, March 3 at 10am at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.
Bob was born March 13, 1964, in Fort Benning, GA to Dobber and Sandy Graves. He was a longtime resident of Waco. Bob graduated from McLennan Community College in 1999 and worked for several years as a physical therapist assistant. Bob loved getting together with his family at the holidays, but he especially loved family excursions to water parks. He loved spending time with his brothers and sister, but also with all of the nieces and nephews.
Bob was a jovial, outgoing person who could bring laughter and fun to any place or person he came to know. He was also quick to help others, no matter what the need might be, especially when it came to family as next to Sheila, family was the most important thing to him.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila; his mother, Sandy Graves; brothers, Mike and wife Cindy, and David; sister, Jackie and husband Tom; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sheila and family, we will cherish all the wonderful memories we have of Bob. He was such a loving, giving and caring man. Bob has touched each of our hearts, Lane and Logan were talking about the fun times they had with Bob throwing the football around and playing the Xbox, Colby and Ryan remember his encouraging words as they were growing into young men, I think of his love and kindness that he has given to me and my family and how much he loved my deviled eggs, Coy thinks about a good friend he enjoyed talking with and hanging out with. Bob would always say, “we are family and family helps each other out.” Bob will always be in our hearts as well as each of you.
