Robert C. Siler of Moody, passed away Jan 24, 2022 at Waco hospital at age of 69.
Service: 2PM Saturday Feb. 5th at Lake Shore Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
Robert was born April 18, 1952 to RC and Johnnie Siler in Waco. Robert attended Moody ISD where he met and later married the love of his life Barbara Davis on July 3,1970.
Robert was a lifelong resident of Moody. He possessed a strong sense of community. He was an EMT first responder and a volunteer firefighter. In later years he would serve on the city council. Robert retired from the City of Moody after 32 years as Director of Public Works.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Louise Cooper and Joyce Mitchell.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years Barbara Siler; sister, Kimberly Mahood and husband, David of Troy; and many nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to a local volunteer fire department or a charity of your choice.
