Richard “Rich” Hays, 52, of Waco, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at his residence.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Abilene in Abilene, Texas
Rich is survived by his parents, Bob and Glenabel Hays of Waco; sister, Denitia Blount and husband, Norris of Waco; brother Charles Peterson of Lemoore, California; 4 nieces; 3 nephews; and several aunts and uncles.

I am so very sad to hear of Richard’s death. I’m so sorry for the pain and loss you are experiencing. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. Many fond memories of singing with Richard And going to senior prom with him. He was a sweet, gentle, kind, soul who was gifted in many ways. Thanking Father for the gift of Richard and praising Him that he is truly at home now, more alive than ever.
