Randall Keith Snider

Randall Keith Snider, 79 of Elm Mott passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital.

Memorial Service : Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 9 am at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Penelope, Texas. Directly following there will be a Celebration of Life and luncheon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 7201 Viking Dr., Waco, Texas 76710.

Keith was born in Penelope ,Texas, October 26, 1938, to Thomas Henry Snider and Mattie Wells Snider. He was the tenth born in a family of 11 children; 5 boys and 6 girls. He served 3 years in the United States Air Force and learned his trade as a mechanic there. He worked for Rainbow Bread Company and General Dynamics, but spent most of his life as a small business owner. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and he enjoyed raising and training English Setters. He loved to play dominoes and Scrabble and was hard to beat. He will be remembered for always reminding all of us, his family, how much he loved us and how proud he was of us. He always called and had a song to wish us Happy Birthday or for just about any other occasion. Keith loved life and believed it should be lived to the fullest. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, favorite and beloved uncle, and friend.

He is survived by four daughters: Sherry Pegg and husband Butch, children Brandon(Shannon), Jessica Esparza(Mario), and Heather(Duane) Parten; Kathy Miller and husband Carl, children Amanda Chase(Scot), Allison James(Tommy), Brett(Kenzie), Bryce(Georgia), Caitlin, and Courtney McDowell(Levi); Karen Mackie and husband Dave, children James(Nachelle), Rachel Ayala(Edward), Nathan(Natalie), Jared(Erin) and Aaron; and  Kimberly Korn, children Kamden and Kara. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren with 2 more expecting and many more to come. What a legacy. He is also survived by 2 sisters; Gwen Snider Justice and Carolyn Snider Murphy, and many nieces and nephews.
