Where do I start. . Phyllis was such a one of a kind person. I have seen her be the sweetest , kindest person on earth, and in the same breath throw someone out of her bar, and keep on truckin. .. She will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of just one moment of knowing her. .I am truly thankful that she is in a better place, and with her love, Mike. .. Our "Precious" will be remembered always.

Condolence from Doreen Plott on February 28th, 2014 9:13 am

Phyllis will be missed by RP and myself. Rich knew her for years, she was the person he would visit after work, catch up on news and laugh about things happeing. She made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The sadest thing "Smokers" closing is that we weren’t able to see or visit Phyllis as much. We will miss her but where ever she is she will make more people happy with her personality. Doreen Plott

Condolence from Dustie Snyder on February 28th, 2014 9:13 am

I miss Aunt Phil already. I miss her curly hair (which btw, isn’t that an awesome pic?), her fabulous indian jewelry and rings on every finger, her ecentric clothes…most of all I miss her spirit…who she was, the truth she told, and her amazing boldness and sensativity toward life and everything it threw at her. She took hold of life and loved every moment of it. She lived her way. I see alot of myself in her, and hope that I grow to be even a small reflection of how incredible she was.

I miss you Aunt Phil. Can’t wait to see you again. Let me know how pretty heaven is, OK? Love, Dustie

Phil, and I go back as friends since 7th grade. She was a unique, wonderful, fun loving friend. We made many teenage memories such as going to get our SS cards together her number was just 1 different from mine. I had always remembered her birthday and the fun times we had celebrating. The good times we had babysitting Vickie, Craig, and Buddy boy while Jean and Bud were gone to a square dance. I loved this entire family. My thoughts and prayers are with you each.

Phyllis was more than a cousin to me she was my freind. I love her so very much and will miss everything about her. She had the most amazing strength, and that personality, WOW!! I always looked up to her as a kid, and wanted to be just like her. I know she has all the angels in stitches.

Phyllis was one of the greatest people I have ever known. She always treated me like a sister and called me little sis. I always was blessed when I was down with her humor. There was never a dull moment when she was in the room. She had a heart of gold and heaven has gotten another beautiful angel. I will miss her always.

Condolence from Stephanie White on February 28th, 2014 9:14 am

Condolence from Susan and Ray Zapata III on February 28th, 2014 9:14 am

Our PRECIOUS PHYLLIS! There is so much to say about our friend and angel. She touched our hearts in so many ways.I had the pleasure of working with her as a bartender at
Smoker’s.I’ve known her about 8-10 years and she will be truly missed by Ray and I.Even when she was so sick in the center, she didn’t complain about herself;she was thinking about everyone else. She kept telling how proud she was of me and Ray for buying our house and that "Ray" finally came to his senses and married me. We were so blessed that she was able to be at the wedding last Oct.and celebrate with us.I stayed with her every weekday when she was at the center and I was truly blessed that I could be there for and with her then and at the end of her wonderful life. We will miss her terribly, but she and MIke and my dad are up there partying..Our prayers are with all her family and friends.

Condolence from Tammye Howell on February 28th, 2014 9:14 am

Condolence from Wendy (Love) Beberstein on February 28th, 2014 9:14 am

I found out about your passing at the go-kart races this last Saturday and my heart hurts. Even though I haven’t seen you in several years, I still thought of you often. Strange thing, you had been on my mind several days in the last month. Now I wish I would have listened to my gut and looked you up. You will always have a special place in my heart. You are one of the funniest women I will ever meet. I will never forget the fun times we had, especially the auction on P street. LOL! Phil, your words to me that week will always be with me! Thank you for being you. I look forward to seeing you on the other side….

Condolence from Wendy Craig on February 28th, 2014 9:14 am

Jeremy and I remember Phyllis as one of the most loving, caring people we ever had the pleasure to call a true friend. She seemed more like family than anything else. She always put everyone ahead of herself. She was an angel and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family. We love you Phyllis….always
