Phillip Hunnicutt, 76, of Waco, was born April 30, 1948 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Phillip was a proud graduate of Crawford High School where he also played on the football team.
Phillip’s favorite past-times were photography and reading the Bible. He was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and enjoyed worshipping at Highland Baptist Church and Acts Christian Fellowship. Phillip had been homebound for the last ten years. He is now in a better place, Heaven.
Phillip was preceded in death by mother, Leone Hunnicutt; father, Roland William Hunnicutt and sister, Pamela Hunnicutt.
He is survived by sister, Janice Boren; nieces, Wendy Wright and Lori Tuyo; nephew, Patrick Boren; great nephews, Daniel Reyes and Camden Boren; great nieces, Vanessa Wilkerson, Destiny Wright, Delaney Boren, McKenzie Tuyo and Abbie Tuyo.
Rest in peace, Phillip. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Phillip was a classmate of mine for many years. He was a kind and considerate young man and loved his football life. He will be met in heaven by many of his CHS Pirate teammates. Blessings to his family.
