Philip G. Resendez, 61 of Waco, went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2016.

Graveside Service: Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2:00PM at Old Perry Cemetery in Moody, Texas

Philip was born on September 12, 1955, to parents, Josue Resendez and Alicia Garcia, Philip attended school in his home town of Moody, TX. After his years in high school, Philip went on to serve in the U.S. Navy as a machinist mate; following his time in the service, he dedicated the next 20 years to a career as a carpet layer.

Philip was a man who made you laugh when you didn’t feel like it–always joking around and singing! He loved the Dallas Cowboys. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Josue Sr. and Alicia Resendez, one sister and three brothers.

He is survived by his children: a son, Felix Resendez; and daughter, Felicia Resendez; one grandson and one granddaughter; three sisters: Neomi Gaytan and Beatrice Rodriguez and husband Charlie of Waco, TX, and Enedina Davila and husband Arthur Sr. of Temple, TX; two brothers: Josue Resendez Jr. and Isaac Resendez Sr. and wife Yolanda of Waco, TX.

We would like to thank Kindred Hospice for all of the Love support and care they gave to our brother.

Until we see each other again, this is not a goodbye, just a see you later. In your words, “You know it, Kid”.
