Peggy (Peterson) Volker, of Hillsboro, Texas, was called home Monday, February 3, 2014. The family visitation 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday February 8, at 275 W. 1st Street, in Crawford.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and was an avid bingo player.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Charles Volker; parents, Earl and Stella Peterson; brothers, Earl Dean and Joe Peterson; sister, Zora Bell Peterson; and son Earl Burkett.

She is survived by her daughters, Caroline Parsons of Waco, Darlene McNiel and husband, Larkin, of Moody, Kathy Mathis and husband, David, of Hillsboro; sons, Donald Fox of Hillsboro, Rusty Burkett of Waco, James Burkett and wife, Mildred, of Crawford, Dean Burkett and wife, Jodi, of Hillsboro; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
