Your mom, Peggy, was so special to meet and her many accomplishments so phenominal, but knowing you guys let us already know how very special she was! I’m so sorry to hear about Peggy Clare. I have some wonderful memories of her when we were in high school and Rainbow girls and Sunday School classes together. She was always such a prop[er lady. I know what you have been through with the Alzheimer’s as my Dad was sick with it for nearly 10 years before he passed away. It is a terrible disease that affects everyone around the person who has to suffer through it. My prayers and thoughts are with you, Clare and her family.

Louis, Gloria and I saw Peggy’s obituary in the Vindicator. I have many wonderful thoughts of our friendship while you were in Liberty. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Louis, Thank you again for letting me know of Peggy’s death. I was able to reach Dolores by phone and she was going to call Betty Sue and Linda. Tonight I sent a group message to the e-mail addresses I have who were in the class of 1955. I know that each one feels her loss.

I am moved by the lovely tribute to Peggy in her biography. It has been such an honor to have known her since sixth grade, to be her friend and to have known her parents and grandmother, and then her husband and daughter.

It is with a sense of sadness that I have known of Peggy’s illness and now her death. "Those who live in the Lord never see each other for the last time (German Proverb)."
