Paul “Sonny” Joseph Bobick, Jr. , passed away September 28, 2021, with his family by his side at BSWH – Hillcrest in Waco, TX.

Sonny, aka “Bubba” by his sisters, was born on June 17, 1966 in Austin, Texas, the first of four children of the late Paul Joseph Bobick, and surviving Bobbie Bobick-Shaw.

Sonny attended Sydney Lanier High school, and went on to further his education to earn a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix.

As a young child, Sonny began his mechanic skills by taking toys apart, and putting them back together. This grew into a life long passion of his. Sonny enjoyed much of his life spending time working on cars, motorcycles, as well as boats. He especially enjoyed his time playing frisbee golf, and working as a mechanic for various types of racing teams.

Sonny spent many years working a machinist. He recently began working at Howmet Aerospace in Waco, TX, in a career that he loved.

He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Joseph Bobick; stepfather, James Curtis Shaw; grandmother, Edna Hazelett.

Sonny is survived by his two sons, Cole Bobick of Austin, TX and Kyle Bobick of Marble Falls, TX; mother, Bobbie Bobick-Shaw of Round Rock, TX; significant other, Denise Erwin of Hewitt, TX; his sisters, Sherry Bobick of Round Rock, TX, Cindy Flannery (Bill) of Liberty Hill, TX, and Laura Perez (Alex) of Austin, TX; his nephews, Cary, Nolan, Brody, and Asher; his nieces, Meadow and Hazel; one grandson, Killian, and a host of other relatives, and friends.
