Oma Hill, 89, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at a local nursing center. Graveside services will be 11AM Thursday, May 19th at Wortham Bend Cemetery with Rev. Robert Stephen Daywitt officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Wednesday, May 18th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Oma was born November 7, 1921 in Wortham Bend to Judson and Imogene (Wortham) Burch. She married Ralph L. Hill in 1941. Oma adored spending time with her family and friends. She was also a foster parent.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Hill; son, Garland Hill; sister, Rosa Burch; and brother, Wortham Burch.

Survivors include sons, Joe Hill of Houston, and Jerry Hill and wife Lisa of Gatesville; daughter, Glena Bryant and husband Tony of China Spring; daughter-in-law, Shirley Hill of China Spring; grandchildren, Jason, Amanda, Tracie, Jeff, Kevin, Viki, James, and Erick; and six great grandchildren.
