  32. Remember Me
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow,
but remember me in every tommorrow,
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles,
I’ve only gone to rest a little while.
Although my leaving causes pain and grief,
my going has eased my hurt, and given me
    relief.
So dry your eyes and remember me,
not as I am now, but as I used to be,
Because, I will remember you all, and
    look on with a smile.
    Understand in you hearts,
I’v only gone to rest a little while.
As long as I have the love of each of you,
I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.

We are so sorry for your lost, You will be in our
thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

  36. Obie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

  37. Obie, I just found out about your father and I’m terribly saddened to hear of your loss, yet God’s gain. I can relate with you and your post stating you lost your best friend. I lost my father 15 days before my last day with the best company I’ve ever worked with during my entire career. There will never be another like I had with Boeing and no best friend to talk to during the time I lost my job. It’s been so difficult Obie. When I read the book of Job, I think of my past several years. Losing my father on January 5, 2012 and then walking out of Team Macon’s doors for my final time. I truly have gone from being on top of the world with no worries to nothing after a blessed 23 years with Boeing and Team Macon. I have family who continue to shower me with prayer and love. It was all so difficult for me Obie and it still is to this day. I spend so much time on the "hill" where my father rests. I know it sounds crazy, but we still talk and he still counsels and coaches me each time I visit him. I’ll share with you the book of James 1:2-4 keeps me going each day. I’ve learned the hard way to be thankful for what I do have and thank all who continue to support me during this time or "test" as written in the scripture I’ve shared. Obie I want to thank you for all the years we’ve worked together and all the support you gave me during my career with Boeing.I hope you read this message in a loving-forgiving way. I’m so very sorry I let you down as I did and placed you in the position I did while working with you at Ridley Park. I’m grateful for the time we shared together and the coaching you gave me while I was there. Should you recall, I accepted your opportunity to work in PHL while I was visiting my father who was in ICU battling and fighting for his life. My dad, just like yours was a good man. He suffered so terribly bad his final few years. Contact with Agent Orange while serving in Vietnam finally took his life. Obie I ask and plead for your forgiveness and plea for your consideration to try to understand the tension I was under while working in PHL and making the poor decision to not communicate with you before abruptly departing and coming back home to be with my family: my son who was battling stage 3 cancer and losing his testicles, my mom who continues to stay strong and fight multiple sclerosis and my father in law who passed away while I was working in PHL. I wish I could go back in time to erase or change some of the poor decisions I made, however I’ve learned the hard way what’s done is done.
Obie I know I’ve been verbose, but I simply wanted you to know I’m genuinely sorry for your loss and I’m sorry I disappointed you a few years ago. You provided me the opportunity of a lifetime yet I blew it. I just hope and pray you can understand why I made the decision I made at the time and forgive me for my actions. I also want you to know I can definitely relate with your loss and I pray our God will give you the strength to move forward each day. Obie, from the bottom of my heart I sincerely wish you the very best and thank you for all the great memories. Take care Obie and please do read James 1:2-4. It has helped me so much during my days after my dad died and I’m certain the verses will help you as well. God bless Obie and take care of yourself and your wonderful family. Know that one day we both will be with our dads once again for eternity. I sent the message privately in sincere respect. God bless Obie and stay strong as you’ve always been.

    VR,
    Karl Cass
