Nellie Long, 78, of Waco, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010 at a local nursing center. Graveside services will be 3PM Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Gholson Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Rummage and Rev. Antonio Torres officiating. Visitation will be 10 AM to noon on Thursday at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Long, Sr.; five brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include son, Carl Long, Jr. of Ft. Worth; sister in law, Emma Rozell of Waco; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Providence Hospice.
