Nancy Jean Charlton, 65, of Marlin, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at a local hospital.
Funeral Service: 2PM Friday, January 24 at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Otto. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
Nancy was born November 20, 1959 in Marlin to Henry and Eleanor (Norman) Steinke. She grew up in Otto and graduated from Mart High School. She married Robert Charlton on April 12, 1980. She and Robert loved going to drag racing at Little River Academy. She dearly loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Nancy will be remembered most for her caring heart.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Steinke; father-in-law, Robert Charlton, Sr.; and her sister-in-law, Donna Charlton.
Survivors include husband of almost 45 years, Robert Charlton; mother, Eleanor Steinke; sister, Linda Denke (David); brothers, James Steinke (Nancy), and Randy Steinke (Tammy); nieces, Sallie Ann Steinke, Maikayla Williams, and Cassandra Alvarez; nephews, James William Steinke, and Brandon Busch; and numerous other relatives.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s United Church of Christ in Otto.
