Milton “Milt” Lewis Anglin, 75, of Woodway, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Providence Health Center in Waco.
Cremation was arranged and provided by Lake Shore Funeral Home & Crematory
Milt was born on May 14, 1945 in Amarillo to Waneta Bryan and Bill Anglin. The Anglin family lived in the Texas panhandle for many years until moving to Loveland, Colorado in 1960. Milt graduated from Loveland High school in 1962 and received a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Abilene Christian University in 1967. After college, he worked as a buyer for Dillard’s Department Store for many years, before going on to own his own business in the apparel industry.
Milt had a passion for helping people. He volunteered for many years doing a bible study and worship service for the residents of the Freeman Center in Waco and was an integral part of launching the Christian Men’s Job Corps of Waco. He was a proud member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church for over 15 years where he sang in the church choir, taught Sunday School, and made many lifelong friends.
Milt is remembered by his friends and family as the kind of person who was easy to talk to and easy to love. His sense of humor, dad jokes, quick wit, and seemingly infinite knowledge of trivia facts guaranteed that he left everyone around them with a smile on their face. Milt loved music, and he was given a beautiful singing voice that brought joy to so many, whether it was through the church choir or singing along to his favorite Roy Orbison songs.
Milt was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Waneta Anglin; and his wife of 26 years, Sara Morris Anglin.
Those who are left to honor and cherish Milt’s memory are his children, Danielle Martin, Christie Anglin, and Michael Anglin and wife, Candace; sisters, Phyllis Bryant and husband Jerry, and Cindy Lepzinski and husband, Tom; grandchildren, Justin, Zachary, and Kiera; and several nephews and nieces.
Milt’s family would like to give a special thank you to Jack Burgess for his constant support, love, and unconditional friendship given to Milt throughout his life and especially in his final days.

Condolences for the family of “Milton Lewis Anglin”
We have good memories of our time with Milt singing in the CABC choir and his always keeping us laughing on choir tours, etc. We will always remember with a smile the time he was singing the Solo on “God Bless the USA” and forgot the words. He sang, “I thank my lucky God…”. It was always hard to keep a straight face when singing that song from then on. We loved Milt and Sarah so much!
