Mildred "Millie" Cunningham, 92, of Waco, passed away Monday, November 11th at a local care center. Private graveside services will be Thursday, November 14th at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia, IL. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
She was born May 5, 1921 in Litchfield, IL to Hughey Herbert Thompson and Rose Ellen (Weaver) Thompson. She married James M. Cunningham, Sr. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a son, James M. Cunningham, Jr.
Survivors include dear friends, Karla and George Ruhl of Waco, TX; sister, Evelyn Boyd of Michigan; grandson, Jason M. Cunningham of Dallas, TX; daughter, Sandra Clemons of Missouri; granddaughter, Roxanne DiMariano; and grandsons, Paul, Russell and Steven Svoboda.

Condolences for the family of “Millie Cunningham”
Aunt Millie you will be sadly miss. As us Oldhams kids, we loved coming down to your place & catch the turtles by the lake. You are a sister to our Mother (Helen)
We never really had the opportunity to know Millie well, but five years ago Karla & George brought Millie to our house to stay at Christmas time. Millie was so helpful, funny and just delightful company. We enjoyed the banter that George and Millie had. He called her "trouble" and she loved every minute of it. She was a dear, sweet lady who had spunk and heart.
Millie you will be greatly missed. I will never forget the wonderful times I had at your house when I would visit as a child during the Fourth of July.
Millie was an exceptional lady. I will cherish the time I spent with her. She had a great sense of humor and could really keep you on your toes. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
