Michael Owen Denton, of McLennan County outside of Mart, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 under the care of hospice at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest with his grandson, Brendon Conley, by his side.
Mike had three daughters, April and husband, Daniel Conley, of Idaho Falls, ID, Michelle Denton and husband, Josh Hauke, of Lorena, TX and Sandy, and husband, Dave Walker, of Lisbon, NY.
Mike was born December 20, 1949 in San Francisco, CA. His family moved to Jacksonville, FL where he grew up. He moved to Texas in 1991. Mike attended TSTC and enjoyed cars especially Fieros.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce in November of 2020; his parents, Owen and Audrey Jean Denton; and his brother, Patrick.
He is survived by many who will always miss and love him, including grandchildren, Brendon Conley of Idaho Falls, ID, Brittney Conley of Olympia, WA, Walter Hauke of Lorena, Amanda Walker of Lisbon, NY, Matthew Walker of Lisbon, NY, Maximilian Conley of Idaho Falls, ID, and Megan Walker of Lisbon, NY. He is also survived by his brother Steve, Jacksonville, FL.
He will be greatly missed and always loved.

It iIt is so hard to lose a parent to death. Rest assured your parents are in a far better place and I know you will see them again. May you feel the Savior’s love and comfort.
