Melinda Louise Baugh (Bartosh), 56, of Chalk Bluff, went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 24, 2021. She was born in Waco, Texas to James Bartosh and Barbara Bartosh (Bine). She met the love of her life Rodney Baugh when they were in high school. On August 30, 1986, they were united in marriage and were members of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was a very loving and faithful wife. She graduated from Connally High School in 1983 and went on to graduate from TSTI to be a dental assistant in 1984. She started her career with Gary Williams, DDS, and later went on to work for 23 years with Brazos Family Dentistry.

She enjoyed photography, painting, looking at artwork and traveling with her husband.  She was a dedicated mother and Nana to her children and grandchildren and treasured and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana to her three grandchildren. She was an inspiration to many and had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She always made friends everywhere she went.

She is preceeded in death by her paternal grandparents Joe and Mary Bartosh, her maternal grandmother Louise Bine and mother Barbara Bartosh.

Left to treasure her memories is her husband, Rodney Baugh; father, James Bartosh; children, Bryan Baugh and wife Stephanie and grandchildren, Rylan Baugh,; Cortney Baugh and fiancé Curtis Conner and grandchildren, Nykolas and Emma Conner; brother Ray Bartosh and wife Gianetta; sister-in-laws, Linda Taylor Patrick and husband Tommy and Carol Fowler; and many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

Melinda, Rodney, and her family would personally like to thank Brazos Family Dentistry for being like family for that past 23 years and for their love and support through recent times. We’d also like to extend our thanks to all the nurses, doctors and supporting staff that helped her through her illness.

A celebration of life service will be 6:00 PM Friday, October 1st at St. Paul Lutheran Church. A reception will follow the service.
