McLon Hood, Sr., of Waco, went to join his heavenly father Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the age of 66.
Service Information: A graveside service will be held Monday, April 24th, at 2:00 p.m. at Waco Memorial Park.
McLon was born September 8, 1950, in Ranger, Texas to parents Robert F. and Betty Jean (McGown) Hood.
He lived and worked in Waco for the past 50 years.
McLon is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Robert “Bob” Hood.
He is survived by his beloved son, McLon Hood, Jr. of Waco; step-son, Jason DeLeon of Waco; sister, Robbie Sloan of Hewitt; and several nieces and nephews.
