    To Matthew’s Parents;
    Loss of your child, burying them before you are laid to rest even, is just not the way any of us pray to God the Father when we do. I did not and do not know your son. But, I do share my heartfelt condolences with you as you grieve his, untimely, passing. May the good LORD God provide you, all comfort, peace that surpasses your own understanding.

    To Matthew’s Wife/Megan;
    I am married. Like you, I love my beloved spouse more than anything, second, only to God the Father. You, more than likely, are beside yourself seeking anything of comfort, while seeking, also strength to carry on past the passing of the one you will, forever, be united with from, “I, Do!”, til long after forevermore. My heart goes out to help you with the brokenness in yours. I am so sorry for your loss. May you seek the LORD for everything only He has to help you from where you surely are through and past this til you are reunited with Matthew one day. But, Megan, not yet. You do not know me. But, please listen as I know God has more for you to be apart of and do, this side of eternity before that day. My prayers lift, from my tippy-toes to the feet of God, on your behalf. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

    To Family/Friends;
    Please use this loss as an opportunity to draw closer to One Who gives and takes away life (Job 1;21) – God

  8. Mr. and Mrs. Roy A Jimenez, SMSgt USAF (Retired)

    Our heartfelt condolences go out to the wife, family and friends of Matthew. We just met Matthew a few weeks ago and even though we only had the honor of meeting with him for about an hour, he left such a great impression on my wife and I that we still feel to this day. He was very respectful, happy, and full of life. He loving spoke of his wife, dogs, and was proud of the work he had recently done on the front end of his truck. He was happy with the Air Force and possible making it career. Being he and his wife are friends of our daughter and future son-in-law, we were looking forward to getting to know him. Words cannot express how saddened we are to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  9. So sorry for his passing! I had a pretty good idea of the level of your mutual commitment when you were in my 384 class. I know he was a great protector of our country, and how proud you were of him. We will keep you and your families in our prayers.
