Mary Jane Thaggard

On May 15, 2020 Mary Jane Thaggard passed away peacefully at her home.  She was 81 years old and lived a full and long life.

Service Information: Memorial Service for Mary Jane Thaggard will be held at New Beginnings Christian Fellowship on Monday, May 18 at 11:00 a.m., 6328 North Gholson Road Waco, Texas 76705. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery in Chaulk Bluff. Due to Covid-19 Social distancing and current seating capacity will be observed.

Mary was born in Menominee, Michigan and called Waco, her home for her last 27 years after living many years in San Diego, California. She was a founding member of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship. Mary was a loving wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She always provided support and love for her family. When she and Tom married people that knew them said they would not last a year. Instead, they shared 43 years, 11 months, and 2 days together.

Mary was preceded in death by her oldest son, Bruce Beyersdorf. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Thaggard; 3 daughters and their husbands, Brenda and David Powell, Barbara and Stephen Bass and Beth and Charles Howard;son Howard Thaggard; 15 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
