Mary C. “Dean” Gabriel, 91, of Waco passed away July 8, 2015.

Graveside Service: Saturday, July 11 at 1:00 p.m. Cathedral in The Pines Memorial Gardens in Tyler, TX. Larry Salyards will be officiating the service.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Manson Gabriel; son, Mack Teague; and her parents, Claude and Annie (Almokary) Doughty.

She is survived by her daughter, Jo Bracey of Waco; granddaugher, Dena Harper of Hewitt, TX; grandsons David Farrow of Waco, Toby Teague of Dallas, TX, and Josh Teague of Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren, Hayli, Hayes, Kati, Emma and Thain; great-great-grandchildren Kash and Aria; and extended family, Jessica Boysen, Sheila Westbrook, Foy Light and Adrianna Villanueva.

The family would like to thank the staff of Royal Manor Nursing Home and special friend Larry Salyards for their love and care.

  5. Mrs. Gabriel was such a fancy lady. I remember meeting her when she first came to Royal Manor. Although it’s been a long time, I can still remember her always being so impeccably put together, pretty nails, set hair, fancy outfits, and of course, her role in the “red hat society!” She was an amazing woman and reared an amazing family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you…
