Martin Vergari, 59, of Waco passed away on September 27, 2017.

Celebration of Life Service: 2 PM, Saturday, September 30, at Lake Shore Funeral Home at the Lone Oak Outdoor Chapel with Chaplain Tim Anderson officiating.

Martin was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Kyra. Survivors include his wife of sixteen years, Karen; sons, Jesse and wife Phyllis, Josh and wife Mary; step-daughter, Elaine; grandchildren, Jesse, Jr., Marcus, Michael, Michaella, Garrett, JuJu, Philicity and Lily; loving sister, Wendy and husband Larry; niece, Stacy; nephews, Cliff and William; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at both Scott and White Hospice and Scott and White Cancer Center.

Martin–my sister Karen’s handsome man–was wise, funny and kind, and I’m grateful they were able to share such big love with each other. Family meant more to him than anything. Martin was that rare good soul, and we’ll all miss him dearly.
