Marjorie M. Jones, 85, passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday May 6, 2010. Graveside services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, May 15, at Oakwood Cemetery.
Marjorie was born to Marian and Curtis Marten, October 16, 1924, in Spokane, Washington. She married Connie J. Jones, Jr. of Waco, June 3, 1945 and resided with him in Waco, Texas where they raised their only son Connie J. Jones III. My deepest sympathy for the Jones family. I just spoke with Marjorie a couple of weeks ago as she contiuned her updates with my mom’s illnesses. What a kind lady she was & I’ll miss talking to her. I’m sure she’s having a great time with the Connie duo already up in heaven because she missed & loved them both so much! Blessing to the family during this difficult time.
We were so sad to hear about Mrs. Jones. She was a special friend to our family and was always such a classy lady. I’ll always remember her smile that was always there and her caring spirit.
