Margie “June” (Johnson) Jentho of Premont, Texas formerly of Waco, Texas entered into eternal rest on Monday, April. 5, 2021 at the age of 86.

Service Information:   Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco, Texas from 3:00-5:00 PM and the funeral will be held 10:00am, Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel in Waco. Burial will immediately follow at the Gerald Cemetery in Elm Mott, Texas.

June was welcomed into the gates of heaven by the Lord; her grandparents; parents, husband and one grandchild, Tasheena Branham. June was born in Albany, Texas on June 15, 1934 to Collin Edward Johnson and Ida (Midkiff) Johnson. In September 1952 she married the love of her life, Edward Jentho and together they shared sixty years.

June was a member of First Baptist Church of Falfurrias, Texas. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, arts and crafts, fishing, camping and reunions with her family. She loved to whistle and sing along with the birds and she would go to the nursing homes and sing for the residents.

June is survived by her daughters; Anita Boockholdt and husband John of Abilene, Texas; Mary Miller and husband Danny of Premont, Texas; Darlene Torres and husband Julian; Margie Lucas and partner Jeff; and Tresa Torres all of Waco Texas; Blanche Hatfield and husband Johnny of Itasca, Texas and Loretta Merritt and partner Sam of Axtell Texas: sons; Hank Jentho of San Antonio, Texas; Carl Jentho and wife Tammy of Waco, Texas; Ed Jentho and wife Teresa of Itasca, Texas and Gist Jentho and wife Cathy of Olden, Texas. She is also survived by one brother Cecil Cooper, of Abilene, Texas and one sister Helen Shawn, of Albany, Texas; 32 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

The family would like to give their appreciation to all the friends and relatives for the prayers, friendship and love shown during this time of loss.

In lieu of flowers, donations toward funeral expenses can be made in Memory of June Jentho in care of First Baptist Church, P O Box 545, Falfurrias, Texas 78355 or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
