Margie Faye Wilkerson Obier

Margie Faye Wilkerson Obier was born January 12, 1929 in Bosque County. She was second to the oldest child of four.

Margie will be buried with her husband at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery.

Margie went to Catholics school and graduated. She then went to work being a nurse for over 50 years. In early 1900’s  she met, Thomas Ray Obier. They were married Months later. Eventually they had four children, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a great great grandson on the way.  Margie was very active in the St. Louise Catholic Church. She devoted many hours to baking, cooking, sewing, and genealogy at the downtown Waco library. She was known for being very sassy! She will be missed by so many and was loved by so many.

She is survived by; son, Thomas Obier Jr,; daughters, Yvonne Moore, and Lisa Kidd; grandkids, Carla Conaway, Rebekah Barnwell, James McGaughy, Raymond Moore; great grandkids, Skylar Hackman, Cohen Hackman, Jazzmine Henderson, Jenecea Henderson, J.J Smith, Kenzie Henderson, Jaxson and Rip; and one great great grandson this month!

She is proceded in death by her husband, Thomas; daughter, Victoria; two sisters; and one brother.

  2. Rest in peace mom. I got to see you several times before you passed on to be with dad. Your pain is over. You will be forever missed.

  3. When I was a child my mom ,dad,uncle,and aunt and my cousin would take the RV they had down to Rockport Tx. We stayed at several KOA camps along the way. She loved singing to Elvis, Eddie Arnold, and Freddie Fender while my dad drove That is the time I want to remember before Dementia set end and changed her. She was a wonderful mother and loved her children . Another memory was taking her granddaughter Carla to half price book stores jack and Jill doughnut shop in North Waco
    Those are the memories I love to remember.
