Margaret Nell Ratliff, 90, of Chalk Bluff, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at her residence and is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior. Funeral services will be 10AM Friday, July 3rd at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Thursday, July 2nd at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.

Nell was born September 26, 1918 in Montague, TX to Dewey Bernard and and Eva Matilda (Fenoglio) Hardison. She married Wilsie Alcorn Ratliff on April 17, 1937 in Bellevue. Nell was a woman of many talents, one of which included owning and operating Nell

    We have fond memories of Nell and the rest of the Ratliff family as neighbors when we lived on Charboneau. We learned fast that you could never outdo Nell when it came to showing appreciation. Anytime you took her a dish of "goodies", she would return it filled with more and better than you had taken her. We loved her dearly.
