Marcus Ray Hanna, age 74 of China Spring, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 13, 2021.
Marcus Ray Hanna or Mark as he was known to friends and family, was born on March 3, 1945. He was the son of the late Jessie Neal Hanna Jr. and Lois Hanna.
Mark married Allie Brock Gholson June 1, 1976. Mark enjoyed the great outdoors, viewing nature, listening to country and gospel music. Some of his favorite things were having family over to visit and playing dice and dominoes. He had a great sense of humor and loved pulling practical jokes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Lois Hanna; and sister, June Hanna Wagaman.
Mark is survived by wife of 44 years, Allie; sons, Wesley Gholson, Bobby Gholson and wife, Sissi, and Neal Hanna and wife, Krista; daughters Becky Dennard, and Vicki Shows and her husband, Robert.
He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 16 great grand children; nephew, Billy Gates and his wife Angela, and James Gates and his wife Beth.
No services will be held. The joyous celebration of life is being held in heaven.
