Louise Oden, 94, of Waco, passed away Sunday, May 3rd at a local care center.
Graveside Services: 2 PM Monday, May 11th at Oakwood Cemetery with Dr. John W. Collier and Rev. Winn Collier officiating.
Visitation: 2 to 4 PM Sunday, May 10th at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Louise was born August 16, 1920 in Santa Ana, TX to Wayne and Daisy (Brandon) Sparks. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Louise worked many years as a teacher at Parkview Christian Academy. Louise had a deep love for children and had the privilege of telling the Life of Jesus to thousands. She served as a trainer for Child Evangelism Fellowship. She dearly loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Embree Oden; son, James Oden; and daughter, Virginia Collier.
Survivors include sons, John Oden and wife Leslie of Groesbeck and Michael Oden and wife Connie of Garland; son-in-law, Dr. John W. Collier of Waco; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend special thanks to all of the staff members at The Atrium of Bellmead.
