Lorin G. “Pee-Wee” Curry, 64, peacefully passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 while surrounded by his loved ones.

Memorial Service: 11AM Wednesday, January 7th at Park Lake Drive Baptist Church.

Lorin was born on January 4, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Gloria (Belcher) Curry.He served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years and worked for the City of Houston for many years thereafter. He then received his Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. Lorin Married Margeurite Tunison on December 4, 1980. She went to be with the Lord on  on March 29, 2000. He later united with Linda Guerrero in marriage on August 6, 2004. She went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2014. Lorin was a beloved member of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church.

Lorin was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Benny Curry.

Survivors include sons, Richard Tunison and wife Bethany, and Jesse Lujan; daughters, Antonette Broadnax and husband Steven, Sarah Fell, Lauren Curry and Jennifer Drake; 21 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all of the staff and nurses at Providence Hospice for your wonderful care, to Pastor Amos Humphries and Park Lake Drive Baptist Church for being there every step of the way, to Lake Shore Funeral Home for all of the arrangements and friendship, and to all of our friends and family who have shown love and support during this time.

    I will miss this man he was definitely a one of a kind. I want to send prayers to you all and I feel Lorin is now with the loved ones he missed so. Thank you for allowing Providence Hospice to come in to your home and take care of him. I will deeply miss seeing him each Thursday as his nurse.
