She was preceded in death by her mother.

Her memory will live on in her survivors: her loving father; daughters Rita Muesse and husband Collin of Hubbard, and Stephanie Bernard of Waco; three sons, Edward Campos of Hewitt, Phillip Cockrell Jr. of Waco, and Charles Schneck and wife Jordan of Lubbock; ten grandchildren, Destiny, Thomas Jr., Landin, and Sophia of Hubbard, Edward Jr., Aidan, Christian, Juliana, and Brianna of Central Texas, and Savannah of Lubbock; sister Donna Sapp of Hewitt; two brothers, David Young of Hewitt and Charles A. Young of Harlingen; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Regent Health Care Facility, for their love, care, and empathy to Loretta. They would also like to extend their thanks to Odyssey Hospice for their care and emotional support.
