Logan John Mynar , 21 of Riesel, tragically passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 after a car accident.

Visitation: 6PM – 8PM, Tuesday, February 14 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Service: 10AM Wednesday, February 15 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Family Land, 246 Lord Lane Riesel, TX 76682.

Logan was born on September 24, 2001 to Charlcie Mynar Woodruff and LeLand Mynar in Waco. Logan graduated from Penn-Foster High School and completed one semester at Texas State Technical College in the solar energy program at the time of his death.

While trying to find a path and purpose for his life, his daughter Lakynn was born. This precious little girl provided Logan with the strength and determination to make hard decisions and he was well on his way to making the necessary changes to become the man he wanted to be.

Logan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Mynar, Sr.

He is survived by daughter, Lakynn Nicole Mynar; Lakynn’s mother, Kali Trotter; pup Spaz Mynar; mother and step-father, Ray and Charlcie Woodruff; father and step-mother, LeLand Mynar and Elizabeth Johnson; big brother, Klynt Mynar and wife Katelyn; little brother, Weston High Mynar; and little sister, Lillie Ann Mynar; grandmothers, Barbara Mynar and Nancy Rothband; and grandfather Paul Rothband; aunt Lori Miller and husband Perry; uncle, Larry Mynar and wife Karen; aunt, Misty Mynar; uncle, Mark Mynar; as well as many more cousins, extended family, and friends.

Pallbearers are Lane Kemp, Rhody Niles, Terry Pullen, Michael Martin, Jr., Patrick Sotomayor, Joshua Thomas, Wade Schronk, William Robert, Wyatt Whorton, Paxton Miller, Ulises Ramos, and Robb Fitzke.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Waco Police Association Scholarship Fund.

  9. I am so very sorry to hear of this tragedy. Logan worked for me at Astro Events, he was a very happy, young man waiting for the birth of his daughter. He worked hard was always so respectful to all around him. Logan will be missed by a lot of people. So sad his daughter will not get to really know her father and the love he had for her.
