Leone Hunnicutt, 88, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, June 25th at a local nursing center. Graveside services will be 10AM Friday, June 28th at Oakwood Cemetery with Dr. Craig Klempnauer officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 7:30PM Thursday, June 27th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Leone was born November 9, 1924 in Patton, TX to James D. and Mattie (Butler) Maberry. She attended schools at Crawford. She held several positions at area factories, including Owens-Illinois. She was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Billy Gene Maberry.
Survivors include son, Phillip Hunnicutt; daughters, Janice Boren, and Pamela Hunnicutt, all of Waco; grandchildren, Wendy, Lori, and Patrick; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and brother, James D. Maberry, Jr. of Houston.

The family acknowledges a special Thanks to the caregivers at Hillcrest Hospital and Quality Care of Waco for your professional care and concern.
