Leonard Tucker, 73, of Waco passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Leonard was born in Waco, November 3, 1948 to Sarah Lee Pimpton and Benjamin Tucker. He attended A.J. Moore High. Afterwards, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1969. He moved to Los Angeles in 1974. It was during this time that he symbolized his personal dedication to God and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed professional careers working with the City of Los Angeles, the Sheriff’s Department, the Veteran’s Administration as a gardener as well as a much beloved school bus driver. An avid fisherman, he made the catch of his life when he married his wife Eunice Tucker on April 25, 1998. He was affectionately known as Honey by his wife, Uncle Bebo by his nieces/nephews and Poppo/Tuck-Tuck by his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Freddie, David and Billy.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years; three daughters, Tracy Lemon, Towanda Jones-Napper (Kenneth), and Trina Jones-Blagmon (Darrin); son, John Crockett; three sisters, Bettye (Eugene) Touchstone, Evelyn Dorris Baylor, Minnie Lee Holmes; two brothers, Charles Tucker and Joel “Monty” Tucker; nephews, Michael W. Tucker (Lisa) and Phillip Tucker (Sonya), and a host of beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and dear friends.
