Leona Carolyn Chandler, 70, of Waco passed away at her home, Friday, July 26, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 10AM, Monday, July 29 at Rosemound Cemetery located at 3201 S. 12th St. Waco, TX 76706. Leona was born May 27, 1943 in Waco, Texas to Claude Leonard and Clyde Francis Howze. She enjoyed cooking for family, gardening, reminiscing with old friends, but most of all, arts and crafts with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronnie Chandler; and sister, Yvonne Richot.
Survivors include brothers, Johnny Howze of Corsicana, and Bud Howze of Phoenix, AZ; children, Jodie Stahr Moeller and husband Mark of Ft. Worth, Missy Stahr Beall and husband Bruce of Waco, Rhonda Chandler Westcott and husband John of Uxbridge, MA, David Neal Chandler and wife Doris of Waco, and William Keith Chandler of Waco; grandchildren include John, Christina, Jenny and husband John, Katie, Kyle, Meagan and husband German, Kristina, Sabrina, Lacy and husband Jeremy, Halee, Zachary, Sydney, Jordan, Will, Maverick, Sady and Savannah; great-grandchildren include Ally, Zahiya, Olivia, and Peyton; as well as many other friends and family.
