In Memorial

Larry Wayne Norman passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Providence Hospital. A memorial service will be held at the LaVega Community Church at 1000 Ashleman in Bellmead on Friday, Feb. 15, at 3 p.m. Pastor Victor Lyons will perform the ceremony.

Larry was born in Waco, on July 24, 1947, to John Loyd and Loreda Parrish Norman. He attended LaVega Schools for his entire school years. He attended junior college for two years before joining the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam where he received two Purple Hearts.

He is survived by his mother, Loreda Norman; three brothers, Steve, Roy, and Stanley; two sisters, Ruth Ann Mitchell and Donna Sue Brown, all from Waco; two daughters, Sonya Murphy from Johnstown, N.Y., and Tammy Norman from China Spring; and a faithful, loving friend, Joyce Foti.
