So sorry to hear about Kirby. He was a nice guy. Praying for comfort.

Still in shock after hearing of Kirby’s passing; he and the entire Berryhill family were strong pillars in my childhood. It had been many years since I had seen Kirby prior to my grandfather’s passing in September – Kirby was there for the visitation, funeral, and later celebration of his life. There was a lot of comfort in his being there and I hope that you all, Bonnie, Kimberly, and Rebecca cherish the good times and good memories. Your dad was a great man! Love to all of you!

I remember Kirby from Waco high back in 1970. Despite the years gone by, and many names and faces forgotten, I never forgot Kirby and wondered what became of him. He was a nice guy. My condolences to the family. May he rest in peace.

Kirby and I were childhood best friends. So many of my memories of my childhood includes him. We played, ran, biked, imagined and got into trouble together. My mother and dad were good friends of Kirby’s friends, so when his mother worked, Kirby stayed with us. The first time I met him (around 5 yrs old), he and a cousin of his were playing Cowboys and Indians in his backyard, so while our mothers were inside the house, they tied me to a tree and piled up leaves at my feet, with the plan to burn me as their captive. Luckily, moms came outside and “rescued” me. However, from then on we were together. Around pre-puberty, our moms decided it wasn’t “proper” for us to spend the night together any more, however, since Kirby and I didn’t know why we weren’t allowed, we threw such fits they relented and our world was back to normal, reading fairy tales in bed, sneaking M&M’s. Lots more stories of he and I, but I am so proud and grateful to have had him in my life. Oh, the adventures we had! I hope God speed to you, Kirby, and that you get to rest and have fun in Heaven.

Gary and I are so saddened to hear of Kirby’s passing. Back in the 70s he and my husband were great friends. They rode motorcycles together, worked together, etc. They were great friends. We were wondering recently about him as we lost track of each other after we moved out of town. He was such a very nice fellow. May he rest in peace and our condolences to Bonnie and the family.

Kirby was a good worker during his days at ALICO. He made a lot of friends here and will be missed by all.

Dear Bonnie and family,
I am so sad to hear of Kirby’s passing. I have sweet memories of when he would visit in Corsicana and all the cousins would get to be together, Easleys, Berryhills and my brother and I the Dockery family. We put away a ton of Oreos at Aunt Bertha and Uncle Woodys.
I pray you feel the precious Hand of Jesus holding you in the coming days. And you know your family and friends are holding you up in prayer. Grace and Peace be with you all.

I had the honor and privilege of working with Kirby at Central Freight Lines for several years. Undoubtedly the most honest, hardworking and dependable person I’ve ever known. Great memories of him telling about his childhood experiences. It’s truly been a blessing to know Kirby. Sincere thoughts and prayers for the Berryhill family.
