Kil Sun Davis, 69, of Robinson, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012. Private family funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 7th at Lake Shore Funeral Home with Minister Oscar Woodard officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.

Kil Sun was born in Chunbuk-do, South Korea on October 20, 1942.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Wayne Davis.

Kil Sun Davis was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother and friend. There was nothing she would not do for her family. She was a very kind, caring, compassionate, loving, self-sacrificing person and the list goes on and on. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to describe her goodness. Kil Sun always put her family first, and did only what was in the family’s best interest, never her own. She truly stands as a model of love for the world to behold.

Always a fighter, even until the very end, her soul now rests with the Lord. Not even death, however, could break her indomitable spirit. She left this world with a smile on her face, at peace with God, her family and the world.

We all know that just as you have always been there for us in our lives, nothing will ever change. You will always be there with us everyday, every step of the way, every moment of our lives. Your family could not be any more proud of you. You brought light to our lives, and even in your passing, your smile rings hope to the very core of our souls. ‘Tis your time to now be free from the chains of earthly pain and worries. Go forth now and bring as much joy in heaven as you have on Earth.

Survivors include husband, Ed Davis; children, Peggy Arnold of Wichita, KS, Susan Bullock of Seattle, WA, Robert Bullock of White Hall, AR, John Davis of Robinson, and Lisa Flores of Keller; stepdaughter, Kim Blanchard of Germantown, MD; stepson, Jerry Lentz of Bend, OR; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

Talking with Ed this morning, we learned of Kil-Sun’s passing. Although it has been nearly 30 years since we have seen each other, our memories of her kindness and the friendship we shared with her and Ed have been a constant part of our life.

We met Ed & Kil Sun in Seoul, Korea while we were stationed there. We instantly fell in love with all of them. Ricardo became best friends with Michael. Lisa was infatuated with Ricardo and John was always friendly and caring. Kil Sun was/is a wonderful person. Loving & caring. I’m sorry we lost touch after San Diego CA. Even though we lost touch, you were in our thoughts.
