Kenneth Ryals, Sr., 49, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014.

Visitation: 6-8pm, Friday, June 20th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco, 76708.

Graveside services: 3pm, Saturday, June 21st at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff.

Kenneth was born April 10, 1965 in Germany to Finis and Lillie A. (McLemore) Ryals. He attended Connally schools. On June 24, 2000, he married Karen Helleson. He was a very hard worker, who strived to provide for his family who he loved so very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Robert W. Ryals.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Samantha Ryals; two sons, Kenneth Finis Ryals, Jr. and wife Terra, and Kevin Wade Ryals and partner Angela Gammage; four grandchildren, Ally, Evan, Storie, and Brayden; sister, Donna Ryals; brother, Roger Ryals and wife Glenda; as well as many nieces, nephew, and other friends and family members.

    I am sorry to hear of the passing of Kenny. Karen, what an angel you were taking care of him. I had the privilege of seeing Mr. Ryals most recently and he was still in good spirits and I am sorry for your loss, but he is no longer suffering.     I worked with Kenny at Olan Mills. He was a great guy, he would help anyone. I know he loved his family and friends.
    I know that Kenny went though a lot to kill the cancer, what a strong guy and Karen you are strong lady to go though what you did to fight the fight, and I bet his family did the same.
    But God had plan and wanted Kenny to be with him now.
