With love from the Peoples family. Kenneth “KP” Ray Peoples peacefully went to go be with the Lord on the morning of March 22nd, 2023.
Visitation: 5 – 8PM Saturday, April 1 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Ceremony will begin at 6PM. At any time feel free to walk up to say a few words, memories, or condolences to everyone.
Kenneth “KP” Ray Peoples, the son of the late Calvin and Josephine Peoples, was born April 15th, 1961, in Marlin, Tx. He was one of six siblings. He was a son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and a friend to many people. He attended school in Marlin, Tx and after his graduation he immediately joined the United States Army in which he served his time and then joined the civilian workforce. Kenneth married twice, and to these unions 3 children were born.
Brother Peoples loved God and gave his life to Christ. He read the Bible on the regular and attended church. In addition to spending time with the Lord, he enjoyed being with his grandchildren and watching old classic tv shows and movies. His life, love, and legacy will continue to live on in the cherished memories of his family, extended family, friends, classmates, former colleagues, and church members.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carl Peoples, and son-in-law, Larry Joe Valadez.
Survivors include his children, Antwon Gude, Kenneth Peoples Jr, and Destiny Peoples Salazar; stepchildren, Rosemary Ann Peoples, Herminia Valadez and Ruby Valadez; grandchildren, Jaylan Gude, Antwon Gude Jr, Alaysia Gude, Nevaeh Peoples-Garcia, Ares Salazar, Aliana Salazar, Kennedi Rae Peoples, and Braelyn Pendleton; siblings, Andre Peoples Sr, Gloria Peoples Woodard, Nicket Peoples Taylor, and Calvin Peoples; step grandchildren, carer/friend/previous spouse, Maria Garcia, cousins, and friends.
