Kendall Wayne Holland, 66, of Waco entered Heaven on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral Service: 2 pm Wednesday, October 20 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Kenny Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Moore Cemetery, Chalk Bluff.
Visitation: 6-8pm Tuesday, October 19 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Kendall was born November 28, 1954 in Waco to Floyd Thomas Holland, Sr. and June Annette Holland. He graduated from LaVega High School in 1973. Kendall married Karen Hill in Bellmead on August 15, 1975. They had two children, daughter Krystal Coker, and son Kenny Holland. Kendall had retired from Local 529 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union over ten years ago. He was a member of the Baylor Masonic Lodge #1235 for many years. Kendall enjoyed spending time with his family, and loved spoiling his grandkids every chance he got. He went fishing every chance he got, and when he wasn’t fishing, he enjoyed watching it and other sports on TV. With his vivacious spirit and caring heart, Kendall never met a stranger, and loved sharing jokes and stories.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and June Holland; precious grandson, Kyle Coker; and his beloved sister, Glenise Cohrt.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Karen Holland of Waco; daughter, Krystal Coker, and husband Jon of Abbott; son, Kenny Holland and wife Angelica of China Spring; granddaughters, Julie Coker and Emmie Holland; grandson, Noah Holland; brothers, Tommy Holland and wife Holly of Abbott, and Sam Holland and wife Rose of China Spring; mother-in-law, Anetha Hill of Bellmead; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Holland, Jon Coker. Tommy Holland, Sam Holland, Gary Holland, Noah Holland, Ernie Gerik, Jerry Odle, and Jim Avera. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Lassiter and Barney Mahan.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Texas Oncology, Ascension Providence Hospital, Dr. Bruce Hamilton, and Baylor Scott and White Hospice in Waco for the exceptional and compassionate care they gave Kendall during his illness.

I am so sorry for the loss of Kendall. He was a wonderful man whom I had the pleasure of knowing for many years, beginning with church. He had a way of making people laugh and smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and extended family.
Oh my long time sweet friend, there are no words for me to say to ease you or your family’s sorrow. You’re all in my thoughts and prayers. I am here for you Karen if only to talk cry or vent. We are both members of a club we didn’t want to be in. Love you and God bless!💜💔💜💔

I’m so sad to hear of Kendall’s passing. I have such fond memories of my younger days with him. I mostly remember how kind he was and I loved his infectious laugh. I will miss him very much but I’m so thankful he’s with his Lord Jesus in heaven now. No more pain or suffering. I’ll be praying for strength as you navigate this difficult time. Love you all!
