Kelda Stanley

kelda obit 1

Kelda Jeannine Stanley, a woman of unwavering love and boundless generosity, passed away quietly at her home on March 31 surrounded by family.  Kelda leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and sacrifice that will be forever remembered and cherished. She dedicated her life to the well-being of others, always putting family, friends, and even strangers before herself.  A loving and devoted wife of 32 years and mother of two amazing girls, Kelda delighted in supporting her family, ensuring that their dreams became realities through her unwavering strength and resilience; her sacrifices never went unnoticed.

Kelda’s kindness was limitless and immeasurable.  Whether through silent acts of service or grand gestures of generosity, she quietly—yet boldly—touched the lives of everyone she met. Every single day and in all circumstances, she showed extraordinary gentleness and compassion to others—regardless of who they were.  She embodied benevolence to all.  Kelda’s legacy is one of love, hard work, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the lives she shaped, the love she gave, and the countless sacrifices she made for the happiness of others. Although Kelda expressed excitement to see Jesus in heaven, she will be deeply missed here on earth.  Kelda’s memory will forever be a guiding light for those who were blessed to know her.

Kelda was preceded in death by her father, Joe Knight.

Those left to cherish Kelda’s memory are husband of 32 years, Donny Stanley; daughters, Skyler Stanley, and Alexis Stanley; mother, Jane Kight; brother, Kevin Knight (Leslie); and numerous other family and many friends.

A Celebration of Life gathering is currently being planned and anticipated to take place in May. Please check back for updates.

Kelda was passionate about and a supporter of the local Alsheimer’s Association – in lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution to this cause would honor Kelda.
