Keith Alan Barnett, 47, was called home to be with the Lord on July 23, 2012, at a family residence in Robinson after a short but brutal battle with cancer. He will be dearly missed.

Keith was born in Giddings, Texas to Frank and Ann Weyant. He had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid fisher and hunter. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nephews, nieces and friends. He loved working with his close friend, Jay, in construction. He also managed a ranch with trophy whitetail deer where he guided for people from all over the United States.

Keith, who was never married, and is survived by his parents, Frank and Ann Weyant, of China Spring, two brothers, Danny Barnette, of China Spring and Paul Weyant (who cared for his brother the last two months of his life) and wife, Michele; numerous nephews, nieces and other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Holt B. and Wilma Weyant and Charlie and Mildred Wobus.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the ladies at Providence Hospice Care and all who loved and supported him throughout his life and brief illness.

Condolence from Danny on February 28th, 2014 9:13 am

Keith,

I am so thankful that God allowed me the opportunity to spend this last year and half with you little brother. I will always hold onto the time we spent at the deer ranch and our fishing tournament among the two of us. We never got a chance for you to win your dollar back :o) but you can save me a place in your boat up in heaven and when we see each other again you will get your chance to win it back. I’m sure your doing some special construction projects up there with "Chief" already and I bet "Boog" and Timmy and the rest of our family was so glad to finally see you again. I am so proud to have had you for my brother, you fought a fight for life like i have never seen before and I am okay and at peace with your passing knowing that you no longer suffer anymore. You can rest assured you will never be forgotten down here and I am going to miss you Keith but this is not goodbye; but I will see you later little brother and I know when my time is done on Earth that you will be there to welcome me with open arms.

P.S. Serenity told me the other day when we were riding down the road "Daddy I’m mad at Jesus because he won’t bring Uncle Keith back to me"..

Rest in Peace Keith you deserve it!

Love your Big Brother

Danny

Condolence from dianne mullins rn on February 28th, 2014 9:13 am

Dear family of Keith,
I am sorry for the loss of your loved one. He was young with much life left to live. We may wonder why? or if their is anything to look forward to?
Jesus well knew the Bible statement:" Time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all"[Ecclesiastes 9:11]. He knew that
sometimes bad things just happen.
The wonderful future resurrection hope is the promise found at John 5:28,29.
Revelation 21:3,4 states that death will be no more. and pain
will be no more, the former things will have passed away.
Our Creator, Jehovah God, by means of his son Jesus, is going to bring about these wonderful changes.
I hope as you read these texts in your Bible they will be of comfort to you.
sincerely dianne mullins
