  5. My condolences to Jud Woodruff’s wife and family. I worked with Jud at AT&T CRE Property Management. He was always so kind and cordial when he contacted me. I had spoken with him the week before his passing. I have such fond memories. I understand he enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, we shared stories of the old TV shows. I want you to know that he was a great person and touched me with his kindness, he will be missed here. It is a sad Monday knowing that in this world I will not speak with him again, I can still hear his voice.

    • I will always remember my cousin as a gentle giant. He was always so kind. As we all grew older we didn’t see each other as much as we did when we were kids. But when we had reunions he always made the effort to be there. I love you and will miss you Jud (Aka) Bruz.

  6. My deepest condolences and prayers go out to Joann and the Woodruff family. I had the pleasure of being his last supervisor at AT&T and I got to know Judd to be a very hard working and dedicated man both in his job and with his family. He cared about people and always wanted to make people comfortable in everything he did. I will miss him and that kind voice over the phone, he was always so kind and caring. God Bless you Judd, you will be missed.

  7. I never got to meet Jud face to face but I worked with him at AT&T . We dispatched calls to Jud. He was kind and never refused a call. He always took what we gave him and never ever complained even if it wasn’t his job, he would make sure it got to the correct person . He was so helpful and courteous to the clerks in our office and he was definitely one of the good guys. He will be missed so much . Our thoughts and prayers go out to Joann and the family.

  9. My condolences to the entire Woodruff family. I was Jud’s AT&T manager for his first ten years in the building maintenance group. I still remember how many people commented about how delighted they were with him; his kind, friendly and trustworthy manner brightened everyone’s day. Working with Jud made those years the most enjoyable of my career.

    Mrs. Woodruff & Family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolence. I am deeply saddened by the news of Jud’s passing. Jud was my coworker at AT&T in the Property Management department. Jud will be greatly missed but please know that his warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered forever. It was truly a pleasure to have known such a kind soul. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May the comfort of God help you through this difficult time.

    Blessings to you,
    Karen D. Stephens

  11. I worked with Jud at att every time he came to Temple we would talk about guitars and if I had gone to the casino lately. He was a good friend and will be missed, so sorry for you loss.

  12. Jud Woodruff was one of my Waco office co-workers that my Central Texas AT&T family lost . I still can’t believe I won’t hear & see him around the office, that I won’t get to help him with something he would say is ‘too techy’ for him, & that he won’t be coming to sit & have an occasional chat, that always ended with a piece or two of Werther’s Originals or chocolate from the candy jar. I will miss him for being one of those gentle giants with a caring spirit, who I never heard raise his voice, was always kind, respectful, & courteous, & always seemed intent to think before he spoke. He will be missed. My thoughts & prayers go out to his wife Jo Ann, his family, & loved ones. May He Rest In Peace.

  17. My Sincere condolences to the Family of Jud Woodruff. I had the pleasure of working with Jud over the past 3 plus years while at AT&T (CBRE) and although we never had the chance to meet face to face, every call that we had was always as if we had known each other for many years before and his willingness to assist was always second to none. His infectious courtesy will definitely be missed and I’m certain that he is spreading that same courtesy in the Heavens above. My continued Prayers and Blessings are with you.

  18. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. Judd and I went to school together from the first grade until we graduated. I always enjoyed his company and we had many deep conversations, some serious and some silly. I really enjoyed his company and friendship. Vaya con dios, compadre

  19. He was such a kind and good hearted person…very much like his father. I can’t recall a time that I didn’t see him smiling. He will be greatly missed, that I know of, and my thoughts will be with you Joann as you go thru your daily life. Love and hugs!

  20. Our deepest condolences go out to Jo Ann and the Woodruff family, from the ATT Power crew. I had the pleasure of knowing Jud for years. I will miss him dearly, as he was my fishing story buddy every time we crossed paths at work. Kind, caring, and always made us feel valued & important, no matter what we reached out to him for to ask for his assistance. Although I won’t be in town to attend the services, know that my heart & mind is heavy in remembering all the great things about Jud. Being in Rockport this week, the first redfish caught with that beautiful sunset in the background on Monday evening was fully dedicated in honor of our beloved Jud! May the family find peace and mend broken hearts as time allows in knowing that Jud is now happily fishing as much as he wishes in eternity.

  21. Jud always made me smile! Im so very sorry for your loss, JoAnn… He will be fondly remembered.
Praying that your heart will be full of precious memories of your beautiful life together.
    – Sonya and family

  22. JoAnn and family,

Sending hope that memories of happy times you shared will help you through the difficult days ahead.
