Joyce Gwendolyn Howarton, 85, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be Noon Friday, December 23rd at Rosemound Cemetery with Alan Mayfield officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 7PM Thursday, December 22nd at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Joyce was born July 16, 1926 in Waco to James and Millie (Tomlison) Howarton. She served as President of Vaughan Abstract and Title Company for over 30 years. She was a Baptist. Joyce loved her cats dearly.
Survivors include sister, Lottie McDaniel of Waco.
