Jose C. Garcia, 55, of Dallas, formerly of Waco, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 6, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be 10AM Wednesday, August 11th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Armando Virgen officiating, along with Dan Navarro, Vincent Navarro and Martin Navarro participating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Tuesday, August 10th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Jose was preceded in death by his father, Frank Garcia; and brother, Lupe Navarro.
Survivors include son, Jose C. Garcia, Jr. of Ohio; granddaughter, Rose Garcia of Ohio; parents, Juanita and Vincent Navarro of Waco; sisters, Betty Dawson of Dallas and Anna Segura of Waco; brothers, Frank Garcia, Jr. of Waco, John Garcia of Waco, Dan Navarro of Dallas, Albert Navarro of Bryan, Martin Navarro of Dallas, and Luis Navarro of Dallas; several nieces and nephews, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Frank Garcia, Jr., John Garcia, Dan Navarro, Albert Navarro, Martin Navarro, and Luis Navarro.
