Jonathan James

Jonathan James, 29, of Hillsboro, took the hand of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to go home on October 30, 2019.

Born in Waco December 17, 1989 to the parents of Charlie James Jr., and Marilynn Poe James.

Jonathan will be most remembered by his contagious smile and loving heart. He attended school in Cayuga, Texas where he played football, basketball, and learned the love of country living, fishing and ranching life. He loved his Rock n Roll music, and played guitar to the likes Pantera, Zeplin, and Hendricks.

He joined his dad, Charlie James; grandparents Earl & January Poe, Charlie Sr. & Virginia James; along with uncles, LT James, Ricky Poe, and Roger Seay; aunts, Shelia Sellers and Margaret Ondracek.

He leaves behind his son, Jayden James; expected twin sons, with Bobbi Giles of Waco; his mother, Marilynn James and“Pops” Kenneth Hughes of Hillsboro; nephew, Jordan James of South Carolina; his brothers, Adam James of Hillsboro and Zandra Medlock and wife, Andrea of Wichita Falls; sister, Nicole Carpenter and husband, Tim Scott of Waco; niece, Ta Mavia Scott of Waco; and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
