John P. Hutchings

Hutchings Copy2

John Paul Hutchings, 69 of Waco, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018.

Celebration of Life Service: 3PM Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Landon Collard officiating.

“Please, come as you are.”

Reception to follow Service: AMF Westview Bowling Lanes, 4565 W. Waco Drive.

John was born October 25, 1948 to Charles Arthur and Eleanor Ruth (Joslin) Hutchings, in Watertown, New York.

John was a son, a brother, a husband, a partner, a Marine, an electrical engineer, and most importantly…a Dad. He loved unconditionally, he served unconditionally, he did everything without condition. He bowled with a vengeance…had several 300 games and enjoyed every minute spent at the alley. When asked, he never said no to his children. He loved his girlfriend Jackie and lit up at her voice. His dogs made him smile and kept him company till the end. He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 20 years, Beverly Hutchings; and sister, Carol Gray.

Survivors include his loving companion, Jacqueline “Jackie” Knight; daughter, Tonya Trepinski-Ochoa and husband, Eric; son, Timothy Hutchings and wife, Chris; grandchildren: Tristan, Christopher, Delaney Rose, Tim Jr., Kailynne, and Lainie; brothers, Douglas Hutchings and Philip Hutchings and wife, Angela; and sister, Marilyn Hutchings.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dementia Society of America.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Uni Murphy and staff at Lake Ridge Healthy Living.
