I am so sorry to hear about Joels passing. We do not know of Gods plans for our lives but he is now in his Heavenly home with old friends and other loved ones. My prayers for you Beverly and all of your family.

  2. I first met Joel when we were members of the same Wood Badge patrol twenty years ago. Several of us in that patrol were Eagle Scouts and among us Joel was one of the most devoted to continued service both to the youth in Scouting and to his community at large — always including his church. Over the twenty years since Joel has never shirked a volunteer duty and he in fact always did more than he was asked. Joel’s younger fellow Eagle Scouts, those who have earned the badge in the last 25 years in Waco, owe Joel a debt of gratitude as his service as a District Commissioner was instrumental in helping our local troops prosper. Among his family, his church, and other community entities he touched, Scouting in the Heart of Texas area bears the indelible handprint of Joel Stromberg.

  3. Joel was a wonderful Scouter and excellent friend! I enjoyed working with him for many years. He will be tremendously missed!

In reality we can never be separated from those we love because God leaves us with memories to hold and love that doesn’t pass away. In time we hope that your Dad’s memories continue to live on in within your heart.

  5. I worked with Joel many years in Scouts. He exempified "I will do my best, to do my duty, to God and my country", and "Once an Eagle, always an Eagle." Every person and every place he touched is better for knowing him. May Beverly and all the family feel God’s Love and gain strength form His Word, today, and all days.
